Showa Idol's Reservedness
The legendary idol who ignited the idol boom during the 80s and overwhelmed the world. She died in a plane crash while traveling to Saga on her first Kyushu tour. Junko has the best vocal among the members of Fran Chou Chou and she works according to the Showa view of the idols. In fact, she believes that idols mesmerize their fans from the stage, inspiring dreams but drawing a line from people's seats, screens, and living rooms. That's the reason why she doesn't want to take part in events where idols and fans are too close. Because of this way of thinking, she had a big argument with Ai, who embraces the view of the Heisei era. Then, Tatsumi told her that the essence of being an idol is make people smile, no matter which era they're in. She didn't need to embrace modern values but just play her role. Upon understanding this and going beyond the Saga rock, she reconciled with Ai.
